CFC is guided by a geographically diverse, democratically elected 23-member Board of Directors, which includes directors and managers of CFC’s member systems. The board sets overall policy, establishes programs and develops strategies for CFC.
The Governor/Chief Executive Officer and Executive Team of senior vice presidents manage CFC’s operations and carry out the board’s directives with the support of a staff of 230 employees, including 16 regional representatives located throughout the United States. CFC’s staff has extensive experience in rural utility finance, operations and management.
